LARGER POINTS AND MORE LICENSE SUSPENSIONS!

NY DMV is drastically overhauling the point system starting in February 2026.  There are higher points and significant consequences to may convictions.  It is vital that you consult with an attorney for all traffic matters.

Driving with a Suspended Driver’s License

If you receive a ticket for driving with a suspended driver’s license in New York, be aware that this is a CRIMINAL CHARGE. If convicted, you would have a criminal record and could be subjected to Jail or Probation. 

Even if you plead to a non-criminal moving violation, you would be assessed 11 Points and have your license suspended.
